Hi, I’m Dr. Marie
I LOVE school. I am a college professor, former college counselor, and public speaker. I formed the Colégas Group as a unique resource for students, academics, and other professionals to help them reach their academic goals. Since attending the Vision Board workshop, I sent an email to my dissertation chair and told him that I wanted to set a date to defend. The next several weeks have certainly been hard, but I did it! Yesterday I successful defended and today I received my official notice that I have reached candidacy. I have continued to keep my Vision Board right above my computer screen, so that I can always see it and be guided by it. I've been to so many of these, but this was the first class where I actually learned something useful, and I'm 45 years old!
